If your here you want to be an effective and profitable copy writer. My best advice to you is to study copy that made you stop in your track whether good or bad. Study the usage of color, pictures, bullet points and wording. Study the way it made you feel and why. Analyze why it connected or repelled you. You have to learn what to do as well as learn what not to do.

For your copy writing skills to grow studying the masters will speed up your road to profitability. Cut and paste, tear out and/or copy but most of all get out there. You can get your feet wet and try out what you learned on sites such as http://www.ezinearticles.comhttp://www.Fiverr.com, http://www.Odesk.com and http://www.hubpages.com.

Writing for these mediums will not only give your confidence but help build your portfolio!

Copy Writing 101: When Not To Go For The Sale

When writing copy it is important to know that you are not to go after the sale. People who feel like they are being sold will not read further. As a copy writer it is your job to educate and inform to create action. The potential client wants to know what is in it for them. How can it ease their pain or make them better.

Spending time on how long the business has been in existence or how many degree you have doesn't peak your potential clients interest and is a waste of money unless on the about page on a website.

Why I Became a Social Media Expert and Copywriter

After spending years fighting to bring customers to my business for over 20 years I fully understood that marketing was my main job. Without incoming business my dream business was costing me money and not making me money. I understood early where my marketing dollars had to be spent especially when social media became huge.
I health changed and I had to leave my salon business due to a lung disorder and chronic back pain. I since continued to study the social media trends and began helping others bring clients and customers to their business. I understand a business owners primal specific needs are RESULTS.
  1. More Likes on Facebook
  2. More Leads for more business
  3. Customers coming to your business to buy

As a Copywriter and Social Media Specialist I know what it takes to get your message across by posting the right information to target the specific people you want to do business with. I understand that people  want to be educated and not sold. When choosing a copywriter it is imperative that they understand how to talk to the search engines as well as your targeted audience.
  • Messages that get attention
  • Photos that get responses
  •  Ideas and strategies for your specific niche

If you are adding content to a website for your new business it must be able to be found in the search engines by your targeted market. Great words mean nothing if they can not be found when searched. And great marketing strategies mean nothing if you are not a business that is ready to give quality service. That being said, I will only work with businesses that are giving great service.

I want to show you an example of an article writing job about "Loose Leaf Tea" that will be linked to a prominent tea house. See how the article never sells but educates. This is one way I educate clients and give them what they have been looking for.

Can you see how my client can use this article over and over again without spending ridiculous money on ads that are useless after one click? I call my copy "Killer Copy" because it's subtle trap you can't escape!
